Most AI vendors want to sell you API access: a monthly bill that grows with every request, a data pipeline that sends your business-critical information to someone else’s servers, and a dependency that you can never fully control.
VORLUX AI (from Vor = forward + Lux = light) was founded on a simple idea: European businesses deserve AI that respects their data, fits their budget, and runs on hardware they actually own. Not every company needs GPT-4 in the cloud. Many need a fast, private language model running on a EUR 700 device in their office: and Grand View Research, a market-research firm, projects the edge AI market to reach USD 118.69 billion by 2033, which is the direction the industry is heading. That’s what we deliver.
What We Do
VORLUX AI operates across two service lines:
1. Local AI deployment
Our core offering: we deploy Small Language Models (SLMs) on low-power hardware (NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, Apple Mac Mini M4, Intel NUCs) directly in your office or data center, powered by open-source inference tools like Ollama. No cloud bills. No data leaving your network. Deployment + monthly retainer: price scoped per engagement.
What you get:
- A local AI model tuned for your industry (legal, finance, manufacturing, retail)
- Hardware that fits on a shelf and draws tens of watts, not hundreds
- GDPR compliance by design: your data never leaves your premises
- A break-even estimate against your current or projected cloud API costs, worked out from your own volumes
2. Sovereign AI Nodes (Month 6+)
For government agencies and regulated industries: fully air-gapped AI systems that meet ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) and EU AI Act requirements. Zero internet dependency. Complete audit trails.

Valencia is more than our home: it’s a strategic choice. The city sits at the intersection of Mediterranean tech talent, a growing AI research community (with the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia leading the way), and one of Spain’s most vibrant startup ecosystems.
It’s also a city that understands the value of doing things locally. The Valencian Community’s IVACE grant programs and Spain’s Kit Digital subsidies make our edge deployments even more affordable for local businesses: Kit Digital paid vouchers of up to EUR 12,000 to small businesses before its calls for beneficiaries ended, and IVACE funds up to 45% of eligible costs when its windows are open.
Our Approach
We’re not a 200-person consulting firm that sends junior analysts. VORLUX AI is one founder plus an AI agent workforce. We use the same local AI systems we deploy for clients to power our own operations: from daily briefings generated by our orchestration engine to automated lead research and knowledge base management.
